LIIAR:
L – I think the Grimsby College magazine is more interesting than East ridings and the Heading looks more interesting as it is large in an interesting font and stands out. The main image is ok although the boy seems to be overpowering the girl who has writing over her and is a lot smaller. The colour scheme is orange blue and white which looks better than the East Ridings. There are a couple of thumbnail images but you they are not clear which article they are for. Again there is no price or barcode or competitions. There are three articles advertised, one seems to be aimed more to females, one more to males and one at both but all three seem to be interesting for 16-19 year olds to read.
I – The magazine is to get across information to students of the Grimsby College , I believe it was done fairly well and although the contents page is a bit too busy with too many things going on I like the names of the article and thing that teenagers will want to read on. The adverts on the contents page possibly fund the magazine but they do make it look too crowded.
I - Its conveying serious information in a cool and fun way, it has articles on drugs and alcohol, and also world wide knowledge from someone who’s been to china and a model who attends Grimsby college. This is showing that Grimsby College have the students best interests at heart but they also want to keep them interested and motivated.
A – The target audience is students of Grimsby College generally aged 16 to 18.
R - They include the target audience by saying things young people use such as ‘ the word on the street’ and ‘booze drugs and life’ the college is represented in a cool way by the blue and orange colour scheme and it is portrayed as a positive place to be.
